ABOUT
Dinusha is a speech-language pathologist with 20 years experience working with a wide variety of voice and swallowing disorders. She works with adults who may be experiencing difficulties with their speaking and singing voices, chronic cough and swallowing disorders. She also works with children experiencing difficulties with their speaking and singing voices.
Dinusha began her speech therapy career in London, UK where she trained and specialised in voice and swallowing disorders within an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) team at a teaching hospital.

Since returning to Vancouver in 2010, Dinusha has worked at different acute care hospitals, provided specialist training to peers, presented at medical conferences and is a clinical instructor at UBC.
Dinusha has received advanced clinical training in voice and swallowing disorders over the course of her career in the UK and Canada. She uses this knowledge and experience along with her interest in working with people to understand their concerns and produce the most successful outcomes for her clients.

Dinusha’s private practice is based in East Vancouver. She is available to make home visits upon request and review.

All sessions are currently offered via telehealth. Most extended health plans cover private speech therapy up to a certain amount. Please check with your plan for more information.
